Anjoli M. Clayton, Founder

Anjoli M. Clayton is a Recording Academy / GRAMMY® Member, award-winning violinist, educator, poet, arts entrepreneur, and Founder & Artistic Director of I, Muse. A classically trained violinist whose artistry bridges tradition and innovation, she has performed as a soloist and alongside professional orchestras throughout the United States. Her musical journey has taken her from conservatory training to graduating with Highest Honors from Berklee College of Music, where she expanded her artistic voice through the study of folk, rock, jazz, blues, contemporary, and gospel traditions. Beyond the concert stage, her poetry has been published in respected literary journals, reflecting her lifelong passion for storytelling through both music and the written word.

Anjoli's career is defined by a belief that the arts are far more than entertainment; they are a catalyst for connection, belonging, healing, and transformation. This vision inspired the creation of I, Muse, where she curates immersive artistic experiences that invite audiences to participate, reflect, and create alongside artists of all backgrounds. Drawing upon her experience as both a performer, poet, and non-profit leader, she is committed to expanding access to meaningful arts experiences for communities that have too often been overlooked, ensuring that creativity becomes not a privilege for a few, but a shared opportunity for all.

Under her leadership, I, Muse continues to cultivate innovative collaborations with artists, educators, healthcare providers, and community organizations to demonstrate the profound impact of the arts across generations and abilities. Whether performing on stage, mentoring emerging artists, or designing community-centered programming, Anjoli remains guided by one enduring belief: that every person possesses a creative spark waiting to be ignited; and that when we inspire the muse within one another, we strengthen the communities we all share.
